About I was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. in the mid 70's. My very first memory of music was listening to Disco. I was about 4-5 yrs old and my mom would be playing music while she was cleaning the house. Ever since then I was in love with music. As I grew up, my taste in music expanded. I went from Disco to 80's music and discovered house music. From there, I went to hip-hop/ rap. In the later 80's, I moved towards freestyle. R&B, Salsa, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Heavy Metal, Alternative, Grunge, Reggae, Funk, the list can go on and on. But, no matter how far my taste may have ventured, I always kept House music close to my heart. My first set of vinyl records were "Break 4 Love" by Raze, along with The Todd Terry Project. You know, the classics: "Bango", "Weekend", "Just Wanna Dance"

While being in the military, I got to travel to Europe and discovered a whole other world of music. Just as I thought House music was fading away, I found where it went. There's a whole new level of appreciation for House Music in Europe. From Mega Clubs like Ministry of Sound in London to the smaller clubs like Senso in Crete, Greece.

It wasn't until a good friend of mine, Antoni (a DJ at Degre Zero), that I decided to take DJing more seriously. I had a Denon set and decided to switch to a Pioneer set up and Technics. Although, he is still in Greece and I'm in NYC, we keep in contact and he mentors me. My "Return of Summer" mixed CD's were his influence.

As my love for House music continues, so will my pursuit for the perfect mix. I hope you enjoy all I have to give....
