| About |
Phil started clubbing from an early age but his interest in dance music was really peaked when he saw Carl Cox mixing on 4 decks at a club called Oz in Plymouth in 1995 / 96. He went to university in Bournemouth and was a regular at the opera house almost every Friday night for Slinky. He started DJing around 2002 when he first got his second hand 1210s off ebay and learned to mix playing his mates old trance records before moving on to funky house. He quickly moved onto the dirtier side of things as he discovered a taste for the filthier things in life and now plays Techno, Tech house, Electro, and all things dirty.
Phil met his long term DJ partner and general mischief maker, Anna (AKA Queen of Flange) whilst playing at a new years eve party in 2003 / 04, and theyve been playing together since.
Things have really picked up for the pair recently and they've been playing several nights in and around Portsmouth and Southampton, including Error, Filth and Punchfunk. The highlight so far has to be playing for Punchfunk at Ministry of sound in early 2008! (I didnt stop smiling for a week after that one!)
Phil moved to Australia at the end of 2008 and currently lives in Melbourne where he's actively looking for gigs.
