THE ART AFFECT (real name Arturo J. Escobar) was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. Has been involved in the electronic music world since he was a teenager. Started djing at clubs in S.F. in 2004. His Record label is called Affective Recordings with the first record released in 2006. Web site www.theartaffect.com is up and running with future upgrades. Is currently mixing house and techno music with a large collection of differently styles like funky, hard, deep, progressive, chunky, tribal, techy and electro. Mostly loves throwin' down sets of progressive hard house and bangin' techno because it rocks!
