This is an interesting Tech House mix if I do say so myself. The mixing at first is minimal and leaves lot's of space, just like I like it at 4am. But gets a bit more aggressive as time continues. There are quite a bit of tripped out vocals in this one, no divas by any stretch, but lots of really juicy moaning, grunting, a little singing and really, we don't need to be afraid of the voices. Unless there isn't any music playing and you're all alone and they're telling you to break bank windows. This recording was done low tech. 2 cd-j 200s running through and Allen and Heath Xone 92 (cause I love the 4 band eq) and straight into a Pioneer Pro series cd recorder. For monitors I used 2 full stacks of JBL 3 ways on top of some Cerwin Vega Earthquakes at my friend and original mentor DJ Luis Wolf's house.
