Born in the GDR - Dresden. I was musically influenced by my cousin, who was a "Tape-DJ". By special connections he always got "illegal" copies of dance-music from the "imperialistic abroad". So I got in contact with a lot of HipHop and Soul Stuff, also ItaloDisco. But my favourites were JM Jarre and Mike Oldfield.
Bought my first 12 in 1993. With too few money I had to go by bicycle a lot of kilometres to get some vinyl. So from the beginning I had a special connection to my discs. The only radio-show "Partyzone" by Marcos Lopez on channel DT64 was my access to the new development in DJing and electronic music in general. So I want to become a DJ. First party with 2 fucking pseudo-Technics-adaptions. Today it's a rack with 2 MKII and an Ecler mixer. Thru and Thru turntabolized! |
