NELSON P a.k.a. E6
Born in the city of Havana, Cuba in 1977, Nelson P a.k.a (E6 or Essential6). Always expressed an interest in the arts. His love for music developed through the years with influences ranging from Classic Rock, Alternative, Goth, Italo Disco, Electro House, Trance, Techno & Indie Dance Rock. Finding himself most at home in the Electronic House genre.
Playing & mixing all the genres of House (Deep, Electroclash, Funky/Club House, Hard, Minimal/Tech House, Progressive House and Trance).
Essential6 is a humble and very friendly person always working and collaborating with friends, producers and upcoming DJ's.
In 2003 he re-started his pursuit of DJ'ing and producing under the alias (ESSENTIAL6) the word Essential because it's something you can't do without absolutely necessary. Like a plan or idea in his own mind in which the music is worked to give it the indicated contour and sound. And the six for his favorite month and his favorite number.
He's had a few opportunities in the local scene. Throughout the past years he's been playing guest dj spots at multi dj clubs. DJ'ing for local parties and numerous venues in Miami. Always putting the crowd first. He has an internet radio show on Monday nights on the WOMB.
"As a DJ, I love to take risks. I consider myself to be a very technical DJ because I take different elements from varying genres and fuse them together. After going through many musical love affairs, my styles have finally come to a point where I can merge them all into one; this exposes the listener to something they may not hear otherwise. Influenced by so many my music style has no name let alone boundaries it just simply must be heard/experienced so come along for a journey I promise not to disappoint."
